Discounts & Purchasing

Discounts on software, hardware, and cellular devices are available through the IT Division.  Please see each section below for the different types of discounts available.

Cellular

WKU Students and Employees receive a discount from the following cellular providers: AT&T and Sprint.  WKU Students receive 8% from AT&T and 10% from Sprint.  WKU Employees receive 17% from AT&T and 23% from Sprint.  Please visit the WKU Cellular Discount Portal to learn more about cellular discounts, services, and equipment.

Personal Computer Purchasing

Technical Support Services works with Apple and Dell to maintain a discount purchasing programs for faculty, staff, students and other members of the WKU community personal purchases. The programs are intended for the purchase of computers for personal use, with personal funds only.

Software Discounts

Discounted Microsoft and Adobe software is offered to WKU faculty, staff, and students for their personally owned computers.  To view available software titles, login to the WKU Software Center and click the Personal tab.

WKU Computer Purchasing

Technical Support Services works with Apple and Dell to maintain institutional purchasing programs for the purchase of standard computers that will be owned by WKU and paid for with university funds. The recommended configurations on these sites are priced to reflect university discounts, tax exempt benefit, and are configured to meet all minimum standards for support and compatibility.
