Xposure

Journalism Workshop

 June 8th - 16th

For 29 years, students from throughout Kentucky and the region have come to learn

and practice journalism at Western Kentucky University’s Xposure Journalism Workshop.

These students have shown an interest in journalism and came to the workshops with

backgrounds under-represented in U.S. newsrooms. Some lacked the financial resources

to attend journalism workshops. The 2013 Xposure High School Journalism Workshop

— June 8 - 16 —hosted by the School of Journalism & Broadcasting and student

publications at WKU will continue that tradition. The alumni of these workshops fill newsrooms

throughout the country, helping to ensure that the news gatherers at media outlets mirror

the diverse communities they serve.

For more information contact workshop director, Chuck Clark at chuck.clark@wku.edu

Registration Deadline: Friday, May 3, 2013
