Undergraduate Leadership Certificate Program

 

Who is eligible?


The Undergraduate Leadership Certificate Program offers an undergraduate interdisciplinary academic program. You will enhance your understanding of leadership theory and practice, while applying it directly toward your academic or professional area of interest.

Undergraduate applicants must have at least sophomore standing and a GPA of at least 2.8 at entry to the program (GPA must be maintained throughout the program).

Eligible students from all majors are encouraged to participate.

Courses

Requirements: 15 credit hours
 

I. Introduction to Leadership Perspectives (3 credit hours)

LEAD 200 Effective Leadership Studies

LEAD 300 Leadership Theory and Application

 

At least three credit hours taken in category II., III., or IV. must not duplicate any requirements of the major, minor, or general education fulfillment.

II. Ethics and Social Responsibility (Select one of the following—3 hours):
