WKU offices in Bowling Green will open at 10 a.m. Friday. Classes Friday remain canceled and campuses in Glasgow, Owensboro and Elizabethtown/Ft. Knox remain closed Friday. Saturday classes in Bowling Green will proceed as scheduled. Here is a link to the University’s attendance policy during adverse weather conditions. Use caution and watch for slick spots on roads and walks. 

Residence Halls remain open until noon Saturday. Bemis & Barnes have space for those who need to stay longer. Visit WKU Housing & Residence Life for more information.

Online Classes

Online classes are semester based courses taught via the internet. The campus location for these courses is listed as "web." In order to be listed as a web course in the schedule of classes, there must be no more than two meetings required in a given semester. Most often, online courses do not require any face-to-face meetings. However, if this is a concern for you please contact WKU Online prior to registration at or 888-4WKUWEB.

WKU On Demand courses through Independent Learning have open enrollment, allowing students to begin any day of the year! They are also the only courses offered at WKU that do not require admission to the University prior to registration. Regional Campus locations: WKU provides educational opportunities at three regional campuses in Elizabethtown/Fort
Knox, Glasgow and Owensboro. The principal goals for regional campuses are to provide access to higher education and to improve the quality of life in the communities that are served. Courses are offered in multiple, flexible delivery options. These campuses offer

Regional Campus locations and Bowling Green campuses collaborate to provide additional access to courses through Interactive Video Services (IVS). IVS courses are broadcast to and from WKU campuses.
