CAMPUS SECURITY

WKU-O's 2011 security interns inaugural class with Daviess
County Sheriff Keith Cain and OCTC Criminal Justice instructor, Bob Purdy.
WKU-O's security team conducts routine patrols of the campus grounds
and is available for student escorts during night classes. In addition to their watch
duties the interns are trained in first aid and CPR. Formed in the fall of 2011 through
a partnership with Owensboro Community and Technical College and the Daviess
County Sheriff's Department, the WKU-O security team is an important element in
maintaining a safe campus environment.
