Career Linkages Conference

 Whether you're graduating in Spring or are still searching for the right major, the Career Linkages Conference on Friday, February 8th can help prepare you to be successful post-graduation. Come learn about the options available to liberal arts graduates, how to connect your major to careers, and how best to pursue your career options.

The conference will offer sessions, panels, and interactions with faculty, staff and alumni geared towards creating an effective resume and letter of application, understanding finances while you're in college and beyond, enhancing your social media professional presence, how to create your own brand and market your skill sets, the importance of effective communication, how you can use your major to pursue multiple career options, steps you can take now to better prepare you for the job market, and more!

Conference Schedule for Friday, February 8, 2013:

Check-In and Late Registration: 10:30am-11:00am MMTH Auditorium Lobby
Opening Remarks: 11:00am-11:30am MMTH Auditorium
Session 1: 11:30am-12:15pm MMTH classrooms
Break with Refreshments: 12:15pm-12:40pm
Session 2: 12:45pm-1:30pm MMTH classrooms
Session 3, Conference-Wide Panel Discussion: 1:40pm-2:30pm MMTH Auditorium
Expo Fair and Closing Remarks: 2:30pm-3:30pm MMTH Atrium

The conference is free and open to any WKU student, but you need to register. Please, fill out the form below. The first 25 registrants will receive a professional portfolio!
