Free Kentucky Academy of Sciences (KAS) Annual Memberships

Membership in KAS is open to anyone with an interest in science. KAS members are eligible to apply for research grants, submit manuscripts for publication in the Journal of the Kentucky Academy of Science (JKAS), receive complimentary electronic access to the JKAS, and are entitled to discount KAS meeting registration fees.
To become a (free) enhanced KAS member, visit www.kyscience.org, click Join, and select the Enhanced Member option.
Use your Western Kentucky University e-mail address for registration.
If you are already a member of KAS your membership will be automatically updated for 2012 and no action is required.

WKU was one of three Kentucky Universities that participated in the BIO Conference held in Chicago in April.
Manufacturers across the Commonwealth will benefit from services offered by the Advantage Kentucky Alliance Manufacturing Extension Partnership (AKA-MEP).
WKU faculty, staff, and students interested in joining KAS can do so now at no charge. Western Kentucky University is a 2012 Enhanced KAS Affiliate that offers free individual membership to its faculty, staff and students.
