Bio
Abby Leake graduated from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Hispanic Studies and Asian Studies. She went on to pursue her Master of Arts at East Carolina University in International Studies with a concentration in International Higher Education Administration. This past year she worked at the Office of International Programs at Presbyterian College where she served as the International Student Coordinator, Study Abroad Advisor and served as the community programmer in the Carol International House, an intentional living learning community comprised of international and American college students. While at East Carolina University, Abby served in the Office of International Affairs, Department of Foreign Languages, and Department of International Studies as a Graduate Assistant and at the Ledonia Wright Cultural Center as a Student Assistant. Additionally, Abby has interned at the University of Oulu in Finland in International Relations (the equivalent of WKU’s OIP). Abby is proficient in Spanish and is completing a Master’s Certificate of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.
Abby advises on programs in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and the Harlaxton and Semester at Sea programs.
