Advising

For the summer sessions, there is no mandatory advising requirement for undergraduate students. However, students are encouraged to consult with their advisors to be assured of appropriate course selections.

Registration

ANYONE can register for classes between March 22nd and the first day of class.

Undergraduate Student Eligibility

Undergraduate students are eligible to take summer courses if they are:

  • Enrolled during the 2012 summer term or fall semester or 2013 winter term/spring semester, or
  • Officially admitted or re-admitted for the 2013 summer term.

Graduate Student Eligibility

Graduate students are eligible to take summer courses if they are:

  • Enrolled during the 2012 summer term or fall semester or 2013 winter term/spring semester, or
  • Officially admitted or re-admitted for the 2013 summer term.

Course Load

Summer course load is restricted to the following limits within specified time periods:

May, June I, June II and July II (3 week classes) 4
May, June I and II, and July I and II (4, 5 or 6 week courses) 6
May, June I and June II (7 or 8 week classes) 6
Overall Summer Maximum 15

Financial Aid Eligibility

Students receiving financial aid must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 hours in any combination of sessions from May 13th – Aug 8th.
