The Office of Teacher Services is committed to helping education majors complete their
programs to become certified teachers in a timely and efficient manner. The personnel
in this office are here to assist with admission to teacher education, with prompt
and informed advisement for all elementary and middle grades majors, with the placement
and supervision of all field experiences and student teachers, and with the application
process for teacher certification and advanced degrees. In order to complete both
field experiences and student teaching, students are required to submit a physical and TB test (
) and criminal background check. In addition, we are dedicated to Minority Recruitment
efforts and to their identified programs that are housed in our office.
The Office of Teacher Services is located in Gary A. Ransdell Hall, Room 2052, and is open during the normal operating hours of the University. Our hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. during the regular academic year and from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the summer. General information is available on walk-in basis.
