Textbooks for Troops (T4T) is the LARGEST scholarship of its kind in the NATION.

This program is for military, veterans and eligible dependent students enrolled in WKU courses and who do not receive a book stipend/scholarship.  DOD High School juniors and senior enrolled in a Dual Credit class are also eligible.  How the program works and sustains itself, qualified students check out their textbooks for an entire semester and then they must return the books to our program so that books can continue to be loaned out to other students the next semester.

Books are available if you are taking courses at the main campus, a WKU regional campus, courses with WKU Online or On Demand.   If you are at a WKU regional campus, your books will be picked up and then delivered back to our T4T Representative...

WKU Etown/Ft. Knox - Melissa Ballinger at Briscoe Hall

WKU Glasgow - Sandi Rice, Glasgow front desk

WKU Owensboro - Susan Free, Student Services

At the main campus, WKU Online or On Demand, you can pick up books with us at Military Student Services or by mail,

"I am very pleased with the program. I truly think it is a great asset provided by the Military Student Services. Thank you so much it has helped me tremendously."  Cadet Roebuck

"This program has been very helpful this semester. I would certainly use the program in the future if it is able to continue.  I would estimate that this program has saved me $300 - $400 this semester!" R. Buchanan

"I love the Textbooks for Troops because it saved me money and took the burden of searching for them off me while I was preparing to start school." W. Scarbeau

"It's helped me in my leadership class and I would've otherwise had to buy the book. The book was slightly used, but in great condition. It even came with the important stuff already highlighted. It was great, and you have a great program." J. Mercer
