Alpha Delta Pi

Alpha Delta Pi

The beginning of the women of Alpha Delta Pi can be traced all the back to 1851. This was the year six incredible women at Wesleyan Female College in Macon, Georgia created the very goals and ideals upon which the sisterhood of Epsilon Delta, and other Alpha Delta Pi chapter across the nation, is founded.

Eugenia Tucker Fitzgerald and the other founders formed the Adelphean Society for "the mental, moral, social, and domestic improvement of its members." The Adelphean Society, later renamed Alpha Delta Pi, was the first secret society for college women. These principles of scholarship, leadership, sisterhood, and service are held dearest in the hearts of Alpha Delta Pi women.

We are the first and the finest, forever.
