American Traveler programs can be led by anyone who is an expert about an area or topic. Your program may be tied to a for-credit course or stand-alone.
You may want to partner with a content expert while you lead the group on-site logistics in a place you know well. Or you may be a content expert in search of someone who knows a place you'd like to try out. We're open to discussing any option.
These are noncredit programs normally open to anyone who meets the program requirements. American Traveler programs may travel to any destination, regardless of US passport requirements. A faculty leader may offer an American Traveler opportunity as part of a Study Away or Faculty-led Study Abroad course.
A participant registration process will be made available by Study Away. The faculty leader retains final approval for the noncredit participants. The participants are expected to adhere to the for-credit course requirements.
