Community Partnerships

Community partnerships are an important part of the LifeSkills Center for Child Welfare Education and Research's mission – supporting the development of child welfare professionals to serve Kentucky’s children and families. Since child abuse and neglect generally occurs in scenarios where multiple risk factors exist, it is crucial that several factors are addressed concurrently. This requires ongoing collaboration among many key stakeholders from a variety of disciplines and organizations. Partners will include child welfare professionals and agencies, victim service providers and organizations, academic researchers, training consortiums, educational organizations, child advocacy organizations, and many others.
