Multimedia Technology

Click on the tabs below to see some of the multimedia technology we can help you use in your course!

The LiteTouch is a 65 inch touch screen computer that allows the user to annotate over anything visible on the screen. This includes powerpoints, word documents, pdfs, images, videos, and much more. The LiteTouch has built-in software called "LitePen" which allows the user different annotation options custom made for the LiteTouch. However, any annotation software can be used with the unit.

The faculty who have used the unit extensively say it feels similar to a whiteboard lecture style allowing them to move around freely and interact with their instructional content with significant screen real estate.

This tool, called a “lightboard” allows an instructor to create unique and visually engaging videos for your course. The lightboard is perfect for topics that benefits from a process being shown, such as diagramming how a circuit works, working out complicated equations, creating dynamic flowcharts and much more. You can also use the lightboard to add multimedia (such as backgrounds and picture-in-picture video) in an organic fashion that does not break the flow of your video.

Our green screen is a tool which enables content to appear behind the instructor. This can range from static PowerPoints and documents to images, videos, graphics, animations, or backgrounds. Along with the green screen we have a television monitor and specialized software which allows the instructor to see the material real time allowing for precise reference to the material that appears behind them.
