At WKU we know that athletes work hard to excel in their respective sports.  That is why we offer very competitive athletic scholarships to recruit and retain the best to represent the University in various athletic divisions.

Athletic scholarships are processed through the Department of Student Financial Assistance in accordance with governing federal, state, and University guidelines.  These awards are made in coordination with other scholarships and federal assistance a student may be receiving.  Athletic scholarship awards are made by the various sports departments here at WKU and those decisions are passed on from Athletics to our Coordinator of Athletic Scholarships for processing.
