First-Time Freshmen Scholarship Calculator **


Information Applicable to Beginning Freshmen Fall 2019

First-time freshmen refers to either graduating high school seniors or students who have not earned any college credit after high school graduation (with the exception of summer credit at the institution of Fall entry).

The purpose of the Scholarship Calculator is to provide first-time freshmen with an estimation of the types of academic scholarships that they might be eligible to receive at Western Kentucky University. By entering data into the Scholarship Eligibility box located below, students will be able to view a list of academic scholarships that they might qualify for based on the information that they had inputted into the Scholarship Eligibility box. **Disclaimer: The WKU First-Time Freshmen Scholarship Calculator is intended to provide prospective first-time freshmen students with an estimation of their potential academic scholarship(s). Human error may affect the accuracy of the Scholarship Calculator’s final calculation.

In order to be considered for these scholarships, you must be a first-time incoming freshman planning to enroll full-time at WKU in the Fall semester. If you are eligible for an Academic Merit or Cherry Presidential scholarship, you may still qualify for a Targeted Award. However, you can only be awarded up to Cost of Attendance. By utilizing the First-Time Freshmen Scholarship Calculator, you acknowledge that the estimate provided using this calculator does not represent a final determination of your actual scholarship aid award package. It is just an estimate. Scholarships amount and financial aid availability change from year to year. These estimates shall not be binding on the Secretary of Education, the institution of higher education, or the State.
