As a top-ranked Military Friendly® School, we understand the unique challenges of our U.S. Military students and are committed to helping you achieve your academic goals. We offer a variety of services for military student services, special military tuition rate, a free Textbooks For Troops™ program, and additional services designed specifically for you. 


WKU offers a variety of Regional Degree Programs that fit the workforce needs of this region. These courses are available at WKU in Elizabethtown. 

WKU also has numerous online degree options, so you can enroll in an online program and utilize the support, resources, and services available at WKU in Elizabethtown.

WKU Military Student Services
Provides comprehensive support for students to succeed at WKU, from the point of inquiry through graduation and ultimately on to a productive career.  

Special Military Tuition Rate & Tuition Assistance
The tuition rate is $250 per credit hour for undergraduate and graduate courses for U.S. active-duty, Reserves and National Guard students. Also, WKU offers in-state tuition for veterans.

Textbooks For Troops™
Free textbooks are loaned to eligible military students and dependents.

Course Credit for Military Experience & Training
