The Honors in the Major Track is an option for students joining the Mahurin Honors College in their sophomore or junior year. Eligible students have 45-75 credits of college coursework completed and/or in-progress and a 3.2 cumulative GPA. Honors in the Major is not an option for current members of the Mahurin Honors College or Gatton and Craft Academy alumni.

Students classified as Honors in The Major are only required to complete HON 404.  They may elect to take HON 403 or an additional 3 honors credits in their major to complete the required 18 hours.
