Internship & Volunteer Opportunities

headforthehill

Why Be an Intern or Volunteer at HEP?

Students will learn how to apply basic health education knowledge from the classroom and learn health promotion tactics. This will give them an idea of what they will be doing in a career as a health adviser or endorse skills such as public speaking, event organization, and more. Whether it be for class, clubs, or experience in the health field, WKU Health Education and Promotion can help!

The HEP Center offers Fall and Spring internships throughout the academic year. They are open to a variety of majors including exercise science, public health, dietetics, marketing, and more! Volunteer opportunities throughout the semester include working at our annual Healthy Days Fair or restocking Go With the Flow dispensers.

Email student.wellness@wku.edu for internship or job opportunity!
