Kate, International Student Diplomat

Kate Ngo calls Vietnam her home country. Kate is currently pursuing a bachelor’s of science in accounting and finance and a master of accountancy. She holds many roles for campus organizations such as VP of Beta Alpha Psi, an international honor organization for accounting profession. She is also a project manager for Enactus, an entrepreneurial student organization that helps better the world through the power of entrepreneurial action. She serves as Vice President of Beta Gamma Sigma, an exclusive business honor society.

Kate says being an International Student Diplomat means so much to her because it fulfills her goal of helping international students who are new to WKU. “I feel like the world we live in is not just about our own shell,” Kate said. “It is also about people surrounding us. I love to meet and communicate with people from around the globe to sharpen my knowledge of not only my own culture, but other cultures too.”
