Hilltopper Content Feed
The Hilltopper Content Feed is a layout managed by the WKU IT Division to update content on specific Enterprise Digital Signage (EDS) signs at participating locations. This layout holds a variety of content such as a 3 day weather forecast, current date/time, a scrolling feed from WKU Public Affairs' RSS and features a large section dedicated to “university content”.
Frequently Asked Questions
Clients can submit images, short videos, PDFs and Power Point files. The message of the content must be University related and conform to WKU’s Marketing and Branding policies. Please direct questions to the WKU Division of Public Affairs.

- Images - submit content using the .jpg or .png formats in a 16:9 aspect ratio (common 16:9 resolutions – 1920x1080 or 1280x720) and no less than 96 dpi (dots per inch). Files should be less than 10 MB.
- Adobe PDF - submit content using the .pdf file format. If submitting a multiple page PDF, it is recommended that you save the file as a Power Point file. Files should be less than 10 MB.
- Microsoft Power Point - submit content using the .pptx file format. Keep file total transition time to less than 1 minutes (ex. 6 slides x 10 seconds each or 12 slides at 5 seconds each = 60 seconds/1 minute of content). If your file has animations, consider saving the file as a video (.wmv or .mpeg). Files should be less than 10 MB.
