WKU’s chapter of Alpha Epsilon Delta (AED) inducted 41 new members – the largest number in the chapter’s history -- in a ceremony on Nov. 19.

Alpha Epsilon Delta is the National Health Pre-professional Honor Society dedicated to the encouragement and recognition of excellence in pre-professional health scholarship, including medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, physical therapy and others. The Kentucky Gamma Chapter at WKU was established in 1968 and is celebrating its 50th anniversary on The Hill, having inducted over 1,200 members. Hundreds of AED alumni are currently practicing health care professionals in the region.
