Bio

Mrs. Tabor is an Associate Professor in the Department of Allied Health.  She is a WKU graduate with an AS in Dental Hygiene, a BS in Allied Health Education and a MA in Education.  She is a licensed dental hygienist, certified in the administration of local anesthesia and has taught at Western since 1985.  Mrs. Tabor is an active member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association and the American Dental Education Association and has served as an accreditation site visitor for the American Dental Association Council on Dental Education. She enjoys participating with the CHHS Belize International Service Learning Program. Her most recent continuing education courses include the topics of Radiation Safety, Coronal Polishing and Oral Piercing.   Mrs. Tabor lives in Bowling Green with her husband and has two children who are both WKU alumni.  In her spare time she enjoys volunteer work with her church, reading and cooking.
