Judy earned her Master's degree in Organizational Leadership from WKU in 2011 and has been an advisor in the Gordon Ford College of Business since 2010. She previously worked in the Study Abroad office and brought her expertise in study abroad to the GFCB working with students to help them find study abroad opportunities with business credit. Judy teaches Business University Experience courses to help students be successful in college, and she is a trained Steven Covey facilitator, utilizing that curriculum in her classes. She also manages the GFCB Student Success Center where business students receive one-on-one tutoring by trained peer tutors.
She is an active member of the Professional Education And Knowledge (PEAK) initiative, National Academic Advising Association (NACADA), Campus Advising Network (CAN) and a past board member of Kentucky Academic Advising Association (KACADA). She also participates in recruitment and retention events for the college.
Personally, she is married to Estell and has one daughter, Vanessa, who lives and works in Nashville, TN. Judy enjoys crafting, is an avid quilter and has a small embroidery business. She enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family which includes her cat, Ferb.
