Dr. Ray Blankenship

Dr. Blankenship's interests are in the areas of electronic commerce, on-line training/education, telecommunications, and artifical neutural networks. He teaches undergraduate courses in rapid application development programming (Visual Basic) and business application development (database management, SQL, SQL Server, & Access). He also teaches a graduate course in managing and using information systems from a strategic perspective. His current research focuses on electronic commerce for small business and communities, database applications for the Web, and strategic health care systems. Dr. Blankenship consults and develops in the areas of decision support systems (Healthcare and Manufacturing) and Internet web design. His career in higher education includes a professional position at Marshall University in West Virginia.
