Photography Internship

The Center for Gifted Studies at WKU seeks a Photography Intern for a summer position. Dates of employment run roughly from June 2 – July 19, 2024. Evening and weekend work is to be expected. The pay for this position is $3,500.

The Center offers summer camps for gifted children and professional learning opportunities for teachers. The Photography Intern will be responsible for documenting these events to produce content for social media, marketing materials, and event promotion. The ideal candidates should be able to produce high-quality imagery that captures the spirit of these events. As a representative of The Center, ideal candidates should present themselves in a professional and courteous manner while working in a fast-paced environment.

Successful applicants should demonstrate exceptional technical skills and also the willingness to work with children and educators. Experience with photo equipment and editing software, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a production team are all necessary to be successful in this position. Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a criminal background check.
