South Central Kentucky AHEC office is housed within the College of Health and Human Services at WKU.
We are dedicated to promoting healthy communities through an educational pipeline. AHEC works with students, health professionals, and communities to provide resources and programs that lead to healthier communities.
Student Interest in Healthcare
AHEC cultivates student interest in health careers by creating and funding programs.
We have programs for middle school, high school, and college that foster an interest in the health field.

Students in Clinical Settings
AHEC connects students with quality preceptors within our region for clinical rotations. AHEC can also assist with temporary housing while on rotation if needed.
