Bio
Jessie Nichols, a senior from Potomac, MD, is a first-year Spirit Master majoring in Broadcast Journalism with a concentration on news accompanied with a minor in Marketing. She is President of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., Event Coordinator for the Black Student Alliance, and is the anchor/reporter for WKU’s News Channel 12. She has a passion for being the voice of the people and the leading eye into the community, and hopes one day to grace the screens as an anchor for Good Morning America. As she tackles her dreams and aspirations she lives by the motto “carpe diem” (seize the day). During her final year of college, she hopes to meet new people and grasp the true meaning of the Spirit Makes the Master. You only live once, and Jessie Nichols is determined to make her last year on the hill worthwhile. Go TOPS!
