WKU offices in Bowling Green will open at 10 a.m. Friday. Classes Friday remain canceled and campuses in Glasgow, Owensboro and Elizabethtown/Ft. Knox remain closed Friday. Saturday classes in Bowling Green will proceed as scheduled. Here is a link to the University’s attendance policy during adverse weather conditions. Use caution and watch for slick spots on roads and walks. 

Residence Halls remain open until noon Saturday. Bemis & Barnes have space for those who need to stay longer. Visit WKU Housing & Residence Life for more information.

Taylor Bowling, a junior from London, KY, is a second-year Spirit Master majoring in Civil Engineering with a minor in Political Science. A student in the WKU Honors College, he is the recipient of the Regents Scholarship and the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Scholarship and has been recognized on the President’s List. Taylor recently interned in the summer of 2014 with Messer Construction as a Project Engineer in Nashville, TN. He is a member of Phi Gamma Delta and is the liaison between Independence Bank and the Bowling Green Housing Authority where working together to renovate houses for families in need. Taylor is a member of the leadership team for Campus Crusade for Christ, Bridges Ministry, Golden Key International Honor Society, WKU College Republicans Club, and has completed Stage I of the Dynamic Leadership Institute. He serves as social co-chair for the Spirit Masters.

Favorite Place on Campus: Raymond B. Preston Health and Activities Center where he has combined his passions for basketball, people, and his faith by initiating a program for international students to connect with other WKU students through basketball.
