Some Subagreements will be coming to WKU or WKURF from another institution. If a subagreement is coming TO us from a lead institution, it is treated like a proposal and an award. The Office of Sponsored Programs will submit a proposal to the Lead Institution.
Some Subagreements will be issued by WKU or WKURF (because we are the lead institution) to another insitution from an award we have received. If a subagreement is going OUT from us, we will collect a propsal from the potential subrecipient institution before we submit our proposal to our sponsor. Then, if we receive the award, we will issue an award (specifically a subagreement, subgrant, subcontract) to the subrecipent institution.
