Letter of Good Standing

WKU will need a letter of good standing or an official transcript from your home institution. Most institutions have these letters available through the Registrar’s Office at your current institution (they may also be referred to as "enrollment verifications").

WKU Summer Sessions welcomes students from other colleges and universities.

Many of our classes are available online to allow you to complete a course wherever you are!

Application Deadline

  • The application deadline for Kentucky, out–of–state, and international students is May 1.

Visiting Undergraduate Students

Apply online now! There is a $40 application fee.

Upon receipt of your application for admission, the Office of Admissions will send a transient permission form to be completed by the registrar or dean of your home institution.

When your application is approved, you will be notified of your enrollment status within 7-10 days. Upon acceptance, you will be able to enroll in classes through TopNet by following the course registration instructions.

Visiting Graduate Students

WKU Summer Sessions offers a variety of graduate courses also!

Once you are ready to apply, you will need to apply online and submit the $40 application fee and your undergraduate transcript to:
