Center for Faculty Development
The Center for Faculty Development (CFD) provides and facilitates services to support the scholarly and pedagogical work of faculty, the mentorship of new faculty, and the mentorship and training of graduate students who serve as graduate assistant instructors (GAIs) and graduate teaching assistants (GTAs).
Distance Learning Training and Events
Distance Learning offers open webinars, workshops, trainings, and events as well as departmental and disciplinary invitational events on topics related to teaching and learning with technology.
The ALIVE CCP is committed to bringing campus and community together for the enrichment of both higher education and public life. We support engaged scholarship through service-learning and community-based research as part of the WKU curriculum. We also provide numerous opportunities for volunteerism and ongoing community service.
We have Library Faculty working with each department on campus, helping faculty members and students find materials and learn to use the library. These subject specialists will customize their services to your individual needs—it's like having your own Personal Librarian!
DL Testing Center
The Distance Learning Testing Center is available to proctor exams for faculty who teach online and On Demand courses.
Study Abroad and Global Learning
The Office of Study Abroad and Global Learning (SAGL) serves the WKU community by engaging students, faculty, and staff in diverse, educational, and cultural experiences through faculty-led, exchange, consortia, and other study abroad opportunities.
WKU Study Away offers domestic off-campus programs that enable students to apply the lessons learned in the classroom in a practical, hands-on setting.
