A native of the Pacific Northwest, Andrew received his BFA in Theatre from Western Kentucky University in 1996 and his MFA in Lighting Design from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2002. As a freelance lighting designer, he designs extensively around the greater Seattle area with his work appearing at Seattle Children’s Theatre, Taproot Theatre Company, Tacoma Actors Guild, ArtsWest, and Youth Theatre Northwest. Nationally, he has designed for the Lincoln Center for The Performing Arts (NYC) and the Williamstown Theatre Festival (Massachusetts). Internationally, he is currently the lighting designer for the Operafestival di Roma in Rome, Italy.
