University Marketing works with colleges, departments and units to connect message goals with the broader university marketing campaign while maintaining a consistent visual identity. In addition, our office oversees the university website and works with Information Technology Services to ensure consistent content, design and branding across the WKU website. Our staff is available for consultation on university web pages, social networking initiatives, and other forms of online communication.

We partner with colleges, departments and units in developing and implementing strategic web marketing plans that target specific audiences using digital advertising, websites, social media and other forms of online communication. We use social media and website analytic reporting to help guide our approach. In some cases, we collaborate with the Office of Admissions to deploy mass email and text messages to prospective students via the university's Customer Relationship Manager (CRM). Strategic Web Marketing Consulations are complimentary. College, departments and units are responsible for fees associated with paid advertising. Getting Started
To request a new WKU site, complete the Site Request Form from located at https://www.wku.edu/apps/ouaddons/.
Note: You must complete Omni CMS training in Blackboard prior to gaining access to Omni CMS, the university's website content managment system (CMS). Once you complete the training, a Main Site Contact (MSC) may add you to the access list for a site.
