WKU Web Services attended and presented at the 2011
Higher Ed Web Conference in Austin, TX.  WKU CMS
provider OmniUpdate caught the festivities on video!

WKU partnered with Foursquare's University arm,
4sqOnCampus in the spring of 2011.  WKU Web
Services was invited to present the project at the 2011
Higher Ed Web Conference.  Foursquare covered WKU's
efforts in their official Foursquare blog.

WKU Web Services and Housing and Residence Life
spent the summer of 2011 reaching out to incoming
students via social media outlets like the Facebook
Class of 2015 group.  Together we launched WKU's
partnership with Foursquare at MASTER Plan 2011.

WKU Web Services kicked-off 2011 with a major website
redesign project.  The initial pages launched on February 1
followed by all Academic units on July 11 and all
Administrative units on September 21.
