Kentucky Museum Day Camps for Kids

The Kentucky Museum offers fun, educational and hands-on camps for kids. Camp themes range from history and culture to art and clay. Camps are Monday through Friday beginning at 8 AM  to 12 PM and held in the Museum education classroom. Each camp has its own specific age range. Children may be registered for one or more camps.

Kentucky Museum Friends members receive a 10% discount on all camps.

Camp cancellation policy:  

  •  more than 30 days prior; Full refund
  •  30- 15 days prior; 50% refund
  • less than 15 days prior; No refund

Art Through Out History camp will be taught by artist-in-residence, Lynne Ferguson. Campers will create art work by drawing inspiration from prehistoric cave paintings and petroglyph, Chinese scroll paintings, Illuminations from the Middle Ages and more.
