Public Health Professor Receives Award at KPHA Conference

Dr. Cecilia Watkins, Associate Professor in the Department of Public Health in the College of Health and Human Services at WKU was awarded the Sara C. Stice Award at the 2011 Kentucky Public Health Association Conference held in Louisville, KY March 9, 2011.

The Sara C. Stice Award honors an individual who has made an outstanding contribution in the field of health education in Kentucky.  Sara C. Stice was state Director of Health Education from 1950 until her retirement in 1973.  Guidelines:  Active in the field of health, and has made an exceptional contribution in health education.
