Dr. Johnny Chan, Leon Page Professor of Finance, was recently informed that four of his coauthored papers had been accepted for publication in high quality finance and international business journals.  These articles are: “Do star analysts know more firm-specific information? Evidence from China” in Journal of Banking and Finance; “Does having a credit rating leave less money on the table when raising capital? A study of credit ratings and seasoned equity offerings in China” in Pacific-Basin Finance Journal; “Enhancing bank performance through branches or representative offices? Evidence from European banks” in International Business Review; and “Asymmetric cash flow sensitivity of cash holdings” in Journal of Corporate Finance.  All the journals are published by the Elsevier Science, a major journal publisher and they are available via www.sciencedirect.com.
