The Accounting and Finance departments co-sponsored Governor’s Scholars Day on November 1 at the Carroll Knicely Center. The event brought 30 high school seniors and their parents to WKU to spend the morning learning about degree options, admissions requirements, and scholarship opportunities.
The Governor’s Scholars played a stock market game with current WKU students and asked questions about life as a WKU student. Their parents spent time with faculty and staff from the College of Business in a separate discussion session.
After lunch, WKU President Gary Ransdell spent a few minutes encouraging the students to consider WKU as they make their college decisions.
