WKU ASSET Conference
The WKU Agriculture Students Striving for Effective Tomorrows (ASSET) Conference is designed for students who have just completed their junior year of high school, excel in academics and extra-curricular activities, and are leaders in their community. This five-day conference will strengthen the student's leadership skills, provide tips for the college experience, and create awareness of opportunities in the ever-changing agriculture industry.
DISCOVER WKU AGRICULTURE
Our Department of Agriculture and Food Science faculty and student counselors will select participants based on merit. Individuals selected should be interested in furthering their education and increasing their knowledge of the agriculture industry.
The ASSET conference is provided absolutely FREE to selected participants. The conference is made possible by the WKU Department of Agriculture and Food Science as well as sponsors from the agriculture industry. The following are included in your ASSET leadership experience:
- Student housing at WKU
- All meals
- Refreshments
- Tours of local agriculture-related businesses, such as farms and the arboretum

Obtain a letter of recommendation and a copy of your high school transcript. Mail, fax, or email your completed application, letter of recommendation, and high school transcript to:
