Forage Crop Experts To Speak At WKU Feb.21

Western Kentucky University alumni Drs. Garry Lacefield and Don Ball, along with Dr. Carl Hoveland, will host “Ten Keys to Successful Forage Production” Feb. 21 from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Environmental Science and Technology Building, room 248.
The three internationally known leaders in forage crop production have a new Spanish edition of Southern Forages as well as a new book, Forage Quotes and Concepts. A copy of each book will be donated to the Augenstein Alumni Center.
This event is sponsored by the WKU Department of Agriculture.
WKU will also host the 34th Kentucky Alfalfa Conference Feb. 20 at the L. D. Brown Agriculture Exposition Center. The event brings together alfalfa producers, university researchers and industry representatives. They will discuss the production and future of alfalfa in the Commonwealth.
