WKU faculty members receive award at 2014 ATMAE conference

Two faculty members in WKU’s Department of Architectural and Manufacturing Sciences were recognized at the Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering (ATMAE) annual conference in St. Louis on Nov. 19-22.
Dr. Mark Doggett and Dr. Muhammad Jahan won the award for Best ATMAE 2014 Conference Proceedings Paper for Perceptions of Manufacturing Management and The Four Pillars, which was selected in a blind peer review process by ATMAE members.
ATMAE is the accrediting body of the AMS Department. The Four Pillars are the recommended knowledge areas for a manufacturing engineer as developed jointly by ATMAE and the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME).
