This interactive, hands-on workshop is an introduction to better understanding the Deaf/Blind community and how to work with this group of individuals.
The cost is $10 for the all day workshop, lunch and snacks.
Please note, there is limited space for this workshop. Registration is first-come, first-serve, so have it and your fee turned into Ashley Chance Fox or the ASL Lab by Friday, February 12 @ 3pm.
About the Workshop Leader
Marilyn Trader is the Southeastern Regional Representative of the Helen Keller National Center in Raleigh, North Carolina. She holds a B.S. in psychology and sociology from Illinois State University and master’s degree in social work from Gallaudet University. Marilyn is passionate about educating and providing Deaf/Blind consumers with the tools they need to break barriers, escape isolation, and for some, to gain employment. She is also a certified interpreter.
