Rebecca Reihm

Rebecca Reihm, born & raised on a farm in a small town; went to Illinois School for the Deaf. Worked as Deaf Interpreter for, I lost count of years… 40+ years. Now retired and enjoying life, however, I continue to freelance as Deaf Interpreter. When I’m not interpreting, I'll be dog sitting, volunteering walking dogs at shelters, volunteering at a local organic farm, contra dancing, stargazing, or out prey bird watching.

Glenna Cooper

Glenna Cooper has secured her RID-PDIC to support the expanding needs for more Deaf interpreters in Oklahoma and the first to do live televised interpreting broadcasting in 2019 for the flooding disaster. She has a passion for legal interpreting work and has completed 216 hours of legal interpreting in courtroom training. She served on RID Board as Deaf Member-at-Large. While going out interpreting in the community on local, state, and regional areas, she is an Associate Professor for ASL Studies and Interpreter Education at Tulsa Community College. She has over 20 years experiences in teaching, program development, management, trainings, grant writing and marketing on a local, state, and federal level. With federal and state funding, she implemented Oklahoma Domestic Violence and Tobacco Awareness programs to improve services suited to the cultural needs of the Deaf community. She was one of a few Deaf national FEMA certified instructors to provide CEPIN/TDI’s cultural and competency training to emergency responders in 40 states. During the early 1990’s formation of relay services, she oversaw a relay call center with more than 250 employees to comply with Americans With Disabilities Act, which ensures telephone service accessibility.
