Biology Undergraduate Research Opportunities
The Department of Biology offers a number of possibilities for students to engage in research. Each of our faculty have an active research program and many are able to incorporate undergraduate students into their research programs. Depending on the research, students may become involved year round, during the academic year or in the summer. A student interested in conducting research (we have a particular course, Biology 399 established just for this opportunity) should speak with faculty members whose research interests them. The Bio 399 Research Contract below must be completed to participate in research with individual faculty. In addition, students may apply to conduct research in programs that take place through WKU and elsewhere.
