Description:
Special Seminar
- Speaker - Jim Krumpelman
- Overview - Jim Krumpelman says that earning his 1984 BS in Chemistry from Western was his best lifelong investment. After working on the team that launched Logan Aluminum in Russellville Ky and entering the coatings industry, Jim has spent 32 years with PPG Industries. He currently manages international technology transfers for automotive coatings and adhesives. This evolved from being a searching student who asked a simple question, "What can Western teach me that I can't teach myself?". This seminar shares a quest for evolving strategies for a journey from student life into working professional life. How does your strategy fulfill your life mission? How does your life mission align with a corporate vision? What brings balance?

This presentation will provide an interesting perspective from someone who is still enthusiastic about their WKU education after three decades of experience in industry. All students and faculty are encouraged to attend.
