Call for Abstracts: 41st Annual WKU Mathematics Symposium

Dr. Chris Bemis, Co-founder of X Cubed Capital Management and the SIAM’s Visiting Lecturer, will be the featured speaker at the Mathematics Symposium.
The 41st Annual Mathematics Symposium at Western Kentucky University will be held on Feb. 25.
The deadline to submit abstracts to Dr. Ozkan Ozer (ozkan.ozer@wku.edu) is Feb. 11.
The featured speaker will be Dr. Chris Bemis, Co-founder of X Cubed Capital Management and the SIAM’s Visiting Lecturer, who will present The Incorporation of Constraints as Views in Mean-Variance Optimization.
Dr. David Brown, Dean of WKU’s Ogden College of Science and Engineering, and Dr. Kanita DuCloux, Interim Chair of the Department of Mathematics, will present opening remarks.
