Congratulations to Gatton Academy finalists in the Siemens We Can Change the World Challenge
- Wednesday, May 16th, 2012
Gatton Academy students, Lori Lovell (biology) and Paul Fleischmann (chemistry) undertook a public education initiative focused on unsewered subdivisions around Bowling Green, then followed up with a karst dye tracing project targeting septic systems, and a larger-scale public education effort before and at the recent Household Hazardous Waste clean-up day. Their project was selected as the best high school project in Kentucky entered in the Siemens "We Can Change the World" competition.
