Engineering-Manufacturing-Commercialization Center hosting open house

WKU’s Engineering-Manufacturing-Commercialization Center (EMCC) will host an open house from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. today (Feb. 28).
The EMCC is a new center that has been created within the Applied Research and Technology Program (ARTP) as part of the Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Institute. The EMCC is located in Thompson Complex Central Wing, room 16.
The EMCC’s mission is to “Stimulate Opportunities and New Enterprise.” The objectives of the EMCC are:
- To respond to the needs of the engineering and manufacturing community.
- To aid students, faculty, and staff at WKU in obtaining and completing engineering and manufacturing projects.
- To support academic engineering and manufacturing activities.
Dr. Stacy Wilson, electrical engineering professor, is the center director. Staff engineer Ron Rizzo is the center manager.
